While things may look a little different on the streets of Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, and Carpinteria, one thing is for certain, residents have been supporting local businesses to the best of their abilities. City Hall has recently blocked off traffic from the 500 to the 1300 blocks of State Street, creating a de facto pedestrian mall. Businesses are allowed to serve food and drinks on sidewalk space while maintaining the six-foot social-distancing requirements.
Along with shops and restaurants opening up, the West Wind Drive-In Theater announced nightly movies, Celebration Cruises announced that Lil’ Toot and Whisper are ready to welcome you aboard for private cruises. The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is now open as well as restaurants and stores in Montecito’s Upper and Lower Villages. Not to be forgotten, visit charming Carpinteria restaurants and shops on Santa Claus Lane, Carpinteria Avenue, and Linden Avenue.
During these challenging times, we want you to know we are here for you now and will continue to be until we are able to come together. We look forward to seeing you again in our Santa Barbara County neighborhoods!
