May Real Estate Market Snapshot
We continue to see interesting Real Estate Market Statistics for Santa Barbara County, as we navigate COVID-19 regulations. While it has felt very busy (and indeed it has been), the number of transactions for Santa Barbara County as a whole for the month of May was actually 85 – down 56% compared to 192 sales in May of 2019. So what’s the issue? A HUGE shortage of inventory. Buyer needs are at an all-time high, but there just aren’t enough listings. If you’re thinking about selling your house, now is a fantastic time! Our team has quickly learned to adjust and accommodate any special circumstances that our clients have, in order to help them successfully sell or buy their properties. With so many years as a family run business, our clients and our community have always come first! Please call or email us for any information regarding the real estate market in your area. It is an unusual time right now, so sometimes talking through the market stats with your local real estate agent is the best way to understand the past, present, and future market trends. We would be honored to be that local agent for you!
All Our Best,
The Easter Team
