Angels In The Garden

Last week, we had the honor of attending the Angels Foster Care 2022 luncheon by the sea in Santa Barbara’s Hope Ranch. Angels Foster Care works year-round to match abused and neglected babies and toddlers with stable, loving carefully screened, and extensively supported angels families. Each family is required to care for one child or sibling set at a time with at least one full-time parent in the home. Angels parents also commit to caring for their angel's children throughout the entire time they are in foster care, a process that takes roughly 18 months. These unique requirements encourage young children to attach and bond with their angel parents during a critical period in their development.

The guests arrived to breathtaking ocean views, chilled glasses of rose wine, and artisans painting on their canvas, all the makings of a most picturesque afternoon! The annual fundraiser, which raised over $100,000 this year, supports Angels Foster Care’s program for abused, abandoned and neglected infants and toddlers. Since its founding in 2006, Angels has placed infants and toddlers in foster homes and led the way for many adoptions.
